🔫 Kidnapping


Kaduna : In a continuing surge of banditry, at least three people were killed, and more than a dozen fishermen abducted in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.


Advisory : Avoid isolated areas, remain vigilant and businesses operating in the area are advised to reinforce safety protocols

Plateau : At least 13 people lost their lives following the collapse of a mining site in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.


Advisory : It is advised that individuals avoid unauthorized mining sites and exercise caution around known excavation zones.


☠ Epidemic


Federal Capital Territory : The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) reported that the death toll from the ongoing Lassa Fever outbreak in Nigeria has risen to 174, with 1,035 confirmed cases nationwide.


Advisory : Maintain high levels of hygiene, avoid contact with rats or contaminated materials, and store food securely in rodent-proof containers. Immediate medical attention is recommended if symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or weakness arise, especially for those in affected regions.
